UTILIZAÇÃO DAS FIBRAS DO PSEUDOCAULE DA BANANEIRA

Resumo


O uso de recursos naturais não renováveis e a destinação de resíduos de processos agrícolas ou industriais tem levado pesquisadores ao desenvolvimento de novos materiais como os compósitos, que podem levar em sua composição as fibras naturais. A bananeira é uma planta cultivada ao redor do mundo e suas fibras podem ser utilizadas em compósitos. Este trabalho tem como objetivo buscar na literatura trabalhos sobre o desenvolvimento de compósitos obtidos a partir da utilização da fibra de bananeira com diferentes matrizes poliméricas, suas formas de preparação, caracterização mecânica, usinabilidade e utilização do material. Investigar a viabilidade como material comercial e incentivar o aproveitamento do resíduo do cultivo da planta também são os objetivos deste trabalho
